yeah....the protagonist of the anime Gankatsuou. I love him too.......along with Andrea Cavalcanti.

If you only knew what he went through, you might think that all of his oppressors deserved what they got from him - his revenge. Thank goodness I don't have an enemy like him. geez.....

This man is very good in manipulating. That I really like. well, when it comes to the series, just to clear that out. up to episode 23, i didn't stop from crying.....so sad....his life turned out to be. lost love, lost identity, lost life....

This came from a screenshot from The Count of Monte Cristo.

yep! it is an anime series! its makers are the very same who did the digital cinematography and details of Trinity Blood. yep! if you ask which of the two I will choose (anime), i prefer The Count of Monte Cristo. :w00t:

 yeah! well, it was just that i kinda love tragedy/angst a bit. hmmm...not all of it. If it is done in an artistic way and has a lot of sense in what they are trying to portray, i won't hesitate to spend my money to buy those dvds.

as on now, i'm super addicted to its series. why? because of the story's theme which is REVENGE. Goodness! I love how the count manipulated everybody just to get what he wants. *laughs deviously* poor Albert though....and his best friend Franz. :psychotic:

I liked the novel ending better personally, and i cried because i was so happy. After all that, Edmond really deserved to be happy, nyan.

trust me, you'll LOVE it. especially if you have the full version, and you'll know because it will include what happens to Danglars and when Edmond when back to his prison to visit it years later. I bought a version that i thought was full, but it turned out it was lacking some major parts from another version i'd read, and it really upset me.

i bought it already, hoping that I got the complete version you're telling me. In the original version, Albert is the bastard son of the COunt, right? just like in the movie?
